    A monthly open mic for queer women of color and allies on the heels of its predecessor, POWWOW, Inc’s departure from hosting a weekly open mic for black lesbians. Held on Chicago’s predominately black southside at one of the city’s oldest gay bars, it has quickly become a support network for queer artists of color who often feel isolated from the larger queer community and events on the city’s north side.

    Quare Square Collective, Inc. is an artists collective that seeks to support LGBTQ artists of color in the Midwest by facilitating collaborative works; marketing and advertising; and publication and performances.

    The mission of Chi Chapter is to support people who wish to present as the gender different than that which matches their birth sex.  This support includes help with self acceptance, help with acceptance by family, and help with a positive presentation.  Members self identify in many ways which include being transgender, transsexual, cross-dresser or bi-gendered. Chi Chapter also supports significant others, their family and friends.  Chi Chapter has an outreach program providing panels with of a range of transgender people to speak to classes.

    Young Women’s Empowerment Project is run by youth of color in the sex trade and street economies. We are a member based social justice organization that is led by and for our constituency. Our organization is staffed and run by us, people between the ages of 17-25.

    Youth Outlook (formerly Questioning Youth Center (QYC) has been committed to providing a safe, supportive, and respectful environment for adolescents, whether they identify as gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or questioning (LGBTQ). Youth who identify as allies are welcome in all of our programs and settings.

    Youth Outlook is the only agency in the DuPage, Kane, and DeKalb counties of Illinois dedicated solely to serving LGBTQ youth.     The Windy City Cycling Club (WCCC) is a LGBT, lesbian, gay bisexual, transgender club, which encourages fellowship through recreational, road and off-road cycle rides. WCCC also gets involved in bicycle advocacy and cycling education events. Throughout the year, our social events are purely fun ways to meet people. During the winter we organize outdoor and indoor recreational activities, including skiing, tobogganing, ice skating, bowling and spinning.
