New Hope Recovery Center recognizes the unique addiction treatment needs of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) population. Having a successful treatment stay means discovering what lies at the heart of the addiction. Through addressing a variety of issues – all forms of homophobia, gender identity and expression, the coming out process, trauma, anxiety, depression, sexual compulsivity – an individual can begin to examine the role of drugs/alcohol in their lives and develop healthier coping skills.

New Hope Recovery Center provides safe, supportive specialized addiction treatment to the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. We recognize that individuals in the LGBT community may not seek out treatment services for fear of rejection or prejudice. You can rest assured that every member of our staff strongly believe in the diversity of the individual and honor their dignity and self worth.

SMART Recovery offers a secular scientific alternative if you are seeking independence from alcohol, drugs, sex, gambling and other addictive behaviors. You learn to live a balanced lifestyle and free yourself from addiction. We are not saying that it is easy – but it’s maybe easier than you think to break free from a destructive lifestyle.

Get smart – get started in a SMART Recovery support group, face-to-face or online. In our friendly, small group settings, we talk freely, sharing ideas, support and experience. We learn proven, practical self-management and recovery skills – through discussions, training tools from the tool-box and other self-help activities to increase self-reliance.

See our meeting schedule for a list of LGBTQ meetings.
